The focal point of the Seaholm District is a master plan that is based on the historical mid century Power Plant that was Austins first electrical plant by Walter E. Seaholm. It was first developed in 1950 and after taking eight years to build, the Seaholm Power Plant continued to operate until 1989 - stock image.
